The short version
Live with the lamp for 30 days. If it isn't right, send it back for a full refund. No restocking fee, no explanation required.
How to start a return
Email hello@craftsmancreations.com with your order number. We reply with a prepaid UPS label the same business day, or the next one if it's a weekend. Refunds land on the original payment method within 3–5 business days of the lamp reaching the shop.
Condition
Send it back in the original double-box packaging if you still have it — it was built for the trip. If you don't, tell us and we'll ship you replacement packaging at no cost. Normal handling marks are fine. Iron takes a patina; we expect that.
Exchanges
Want the same lamp in the other finish, or a different piece entirely? Say so in your email and we start your replacement on the bench immediately rather than waiting for the first one to come home. You'll usually have the new lamp before the old one clears our door.
Commissioned work
Custom pieces are built to a spec you approved, so they fall outside the 30-day window. What they do carry is a build guarantee: if the finished piece doesn't match the drawing and material list you signed off on, we rebuild it. See Commissions for how that process runs.
Gifts
If a lamp arrived as a gift, we'll handle the return with the recipient directly and issue store credit so the original buyer never sees a refund notice. Just tell us that's the situation.
