Lifetime Warranty

Every joint, flange, and socket is covered for as long as you own the lamp.

What's covered

For as long as you own your lamp, we cover it against failure in workmanship or materials. That means the joints, the flanges, the socket, the switch, and the cord. If a threaded joint works loose and won't hold, if a socket stops making contact, if the cord's insulation cracks — we repair or replace it, and we pay shipping both ways.

What isn't

  • Bulbs. Filament bulbs are consumables. We'll happily sell you more at cost.
  • Patina. Black iron darkens and warms with handling. Aged brass goes browner over years. This is the material behaving correctly, not a defect.
  • Damage from a fall, a modification, or a bulb over 60W. Tell us what happened anyway — repairs outside warranty are billed at cost of parts plus shipping, and we've never turned one down.

How to make a claim

Email hello@craftsmancreations.com with a photo and a sentence about what's happening. There's no registration to look up and no receipt required — we know what we built. Most electrical issues we diagnose over email and solve with a part in the mail; structural ones come back to the bench.

Why we can offer this

There are maybe forty parts in one of these lamps and every one is a standard, stocked, replaceable component. Nothing is molded, potted, or glued shut. A lamp we built in 2015 can be brought back to new with parts that are on the shelf right now. That's the advantage of building things out of plumbing.
