Lead time
Every lamp is built after you order it. Plan on 5–7 business days on the bench before your piece ships. If a run of orders pushes that out, we email you the same day with a real date — not a form letter.
Transit
We ship from Mariposa, California via UPS Ground. Once your lamp leaves the shop you'll get a tracking number by email.
- California & the Southwest: 1–3 business days
- Rest of the continental US: 3–6 business days
- Alaska & Hawaii: 5–9 business days
Cost
Ground shipping is free on every order within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii are quoted at cost during checkout. Expedited service is available — email us before you order and we'll price it.
Packaging
These are 5–6 lb assemblies of solid iron with a glass bulb attached, so we don't take chances. The bulb comes out and travels in its own molded insert. The lamp is wrapped, foam-corner-blocked, and double-boxed. The whole thing is recyclable — no expanding foam, no plastic peanuts.
International
We ship to Canada on request. Because each lamp is wired to US voltage and a US plug, orders outside North America need a conversation first — write to us and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
If something arrives damaged
Photograph the box and the lamp before you unpack anything further, then email us within 7 days of delivery. We replace freight-damaged lamps outright. You do not pay return shipping and you do not file the carrier claim — we do.
